A meme from Avenger's Infinity War of Peter Quill holding Spider-man hostage and asking Tony Stark "where's Gamora?", Tony holding his hand up respond's "I'll do you one better. Who's Gamora?" and then Drax lying on the floor finishes it off with "I'll do you one better. Why is Gamora?"

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING OR 1/4 LIFE CRISIS...?

One minute you’re daydreaming about 2 wings and chips after school, counting down the hours till 7PM to watch Naruto slap up Pain (big up narutoget)

The next, you’re eating kale, doing Dr. Joe Dispenza meditations, Googling how to decalcify your pineal gland at 3AM, and asking ChatGPT to explain quantum entanglement to a 10-year-old.

Pure canon.

Now you're questioning your entire reality.

Do I write my own story, or am I just following someone else's script?

If life’s just one big game… am I the main character, or just another NPC?

Who makes the rules anyway?

And if I don’t like the rules, or the game, do I even have to play?

Where am I?
Who am I?
Why am I?

These are the questions that sparked my journey.

Spiritual awakening or ¼ life crisis…?
Probably both, lol.

THE ARTIST

"I'm Naomi Richards, a visual artist from South East London… blah blah blah."

Sure, that’s who I am on the physical plane.

But beyond the labels and the ego, I’m just a curious soul exploring the nature of reality through visual storytelling.

A big kid who never stopped scribbling.

Now, I turn ideas into visual stories that make people think — about life, purpose, perception, and everything in between.

THE SPARK

Since childhood, drawing has always been both my escape from and my connection to the world. A universal language I could always rely on when words fell short.

I owe a lot to my mum, who nurtured my love for stories and creativity from the start. Her bedtime tales and drawing sessions created a safe space for me and my brothers to express ourselves freely.

Those moments deepened my love for storytelling and shaped who I am today.

But it wasn’t until I hit sixth form that my curiosity cracked wide open.

I wandered into the self-help section of my local library, stumbled upon The Rules to Break by Richard Templar… and then everything changed (when the Fire Nation atta—sorry, set myself up for that one).

But seriously. That book lit a fire. From business and entrepreneurship to metaphysics and esoteric philosophy, I became obsessed with understanding life beyond the surface.

Multiple rows of various metaphysical, esoteric, business, and self-help books laid out on a bed including Think and Grow Rich, Neville Goddard's Complete Reader, The Kybalion, The Psychology of Selling, Three Magic Words, Atomic Habits, Millionaire Success Habits, How To Win Friends and Influence People, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and many more.

Books like Think and Grow Rich, The Kybalion, and Neville Goddard’s Complete Reader didn’t just shift my mindset — they shattered it, then rebuilt my perception of reality from the ground up.

My art followed suit.

I moved from drawing celebrities and pop culture icons to crafting deeply layered visual narratives — stories shaped by personal experiences, books, lyrics, films, and philosophical gems.

Each piece became an observation. A question. An answer. A reflection. A challenge.

THE REASON

I create to question, to heal, to challenge perception, and to invite curiosity. To make you smile. To make you pause. Sometimes, to make you uncomfortable.

I want my work to spark something within you: a thought, a memory, a moment of clarity. If you walk away questioning your reality, even just a little, I’ve done my job.

Art is how I process this beautifully strange experience we call life. It lets me tuck away little nuggets of wisdom inside visual stories — messages that can find you when you need them most.

THE ART

My work blends realism and surrealism.

Using realistic details to draw you in, and surreal concepts to make you pause, feel, and question.

Each piece is a story packed into a single image. Not just for aesthetics, but to communicate something deeper.

Something you sense, even if you can’t explain it.

I draw from philosophy, metaphysics, esoteric teachings, and self-development, packaging big ideas into visuals that hit on a gut level.

I’m not here to give you answers. I’m here to challenge perspectives. To ask better questions.

THE MISSION

I’m on a mission to positively impact as many lives as possible through visual storytelling, using art and writing for animation as my main vehicles.

Inspired by the greats who came before me, I want to reignite that childlike sense of wonder in those who may have lost touch with their own.

I’m simply following my curiosity and sharing what I discover along the way.

I believe the world needs more “big kids".

You know the kind.

The adults who still ask questions. Who still play, explore, and imagine, just like actual kids (only with deeper emotional awareness and better taste buds, lol).

I'm just a big kid, my life is an adventure, and the world is my playground.
That’s my nindo – my ninja way!
